Sony Ericsson - camera phone domination

During 2008, one phone-maker is set on moulding the world of camera-equipped mobile phones. This phone-maker is Sony Ericsson, and they are determined to not only corner the market in high-end camera phones, but bottom-end handsets, as well!

It's rather apt, when you think about it, that Sony Ericsson should be the ones leading the way in the revolution amongst camera-equipped mobile phones. I mean, it was them who started it all, way back in 2002. Let's not forget that they were the first phone-maker to unleash a mobile phone with a camera in it, in the British marketplace. That mobile was the Sony Ericsson P800, but it didn't get the mass market penetration Sony Ericsson wanted, what with it being an incredibly (for the time) top-end smartphone. But, their most iconic phone ever was soon to be unleashed, and that one DID get great market penetration. It was the Sony Ericsson T610, and it moved the goalposts. Here was a phone that stood proudly over the rival mobile phones it was up against. It was compact, it was sexy, and people LOVED it. And, let us remember that the Sony Ericsson T610 had also got a built-in camera, and that it was really the first phone to go to the mass market, and make them go, 'Wait a sec, we really do want our mobile phones to have cameras in 'em!'
Nowadays, the camera phone world has split, into entry-level handsets, and top-end camera-equipped mobile phones; well, it's fair to say that Sony Ericsson want to be the lings of both!

Say you want a Sony Ericsson camera phone, but not a mega-massive smartphone. If so, then the Sony Ericsson S302, the first phone in their whole new Snapshot series, is the perfect handset for you. It's a top little phone, with a small, slick body, a great screen, and a funky little multimedia player. In addition to that, despite this being classed in the 'budget phone' category, the Sony Ericsson S302 has got a neat little 2 megapixel camera. Ok, you don't get autofocus, but for a budget snapper, it's brilliant!
However, that's an entry-level mobile phone... what if you want something that has real muscle? how about if you desire one of Sony Ericsson's Cyber-Shot series...?
Sony Ericsson C905 - the ultimate camera phone?
You just can't deny power, and something is for definite: the Sony Ericsson C905 has loads and loads more sheer power than any other mobile phones on the market in the UK. How come? Simple, this is the first camera phone to be unleashed upon the UK that has an 8 megapixel camera. That's right. EIGHT. That's a frighteningly big pixel count, and it means that the Sony Ericsson C905 will let you take the absolute most amazing pictures you've ever witnessed, from any camera-equipped mobile phone, ever. Oh, and of course, remember that Sony Ericsson have packed it full of Cyber-Shot brilliance, and that's going to make the images it produces so much more sumptuous. Combine that with a stunning multimedia browser, WiFi, HSDPA and integrated GPS, and you have to come to the conclusion that the Sony Ericsson C905 is, basically, the number one!
