Before placing sanctions on an employer for something gone wrong, some background check will have to be included in the mix. If you have never had one carried out on the staff man, especially before he is employed, you will have a lot of trouble in your hands. Issues like trustworthiness, integrity, and whether or not the man is qualified for the position will never have been answered, which would leave you in a bit of a mess.
