How to Patent an Invention

My friend thought that I was just being silly when I began looking into ways to patent an invention. I think most of my friends would describe me as a crackpot, with good reason I am always the one who is coming up with the ideas that are "outside of the box." Originality and sheer mental inquisitiveness are the two things that stand out. I like thinking ideas no one else has ever thought of before, even if they aren't the most sound or rational thoughts. People looked at me as though I had gone insane when I started filing for a patent for my invention.
My refusal to discuss it did not hinder my friends from giving me their opinions. It's not that I feared them stealing my invention patents or something. It's not that I don't have confidence in my friends; I just don't like to talk about project while I'm in the midst of them. I usually never managed to finish my project, once I start talking. My theory was that I could talk about my invention patents all day after I had filed for them. Meanwhile, however, I wanted to be quiet.
Believe it or not patening an invention can be hard. As you can see, obtaining an invention patent requires numerous steps. To begin with, you need to ascertain that no one else has designed something similar to yours, which isn't always easy. Subsequently, it is more difficult To someone with skills and education in drafting, getting a patent for their invention may be fairly simple. I found it to be nearly overwhelming. You should jot down every little piece of how your invention work and you would need to document it thoroughly with graphs and charts. There have to be a ton of patents that are not filed each year since the work to do so is so intense.
In the end, though, I am fairly certain that patents on inventions are worth it. Making a great amount of money off of my invention is part of my dream, but that's not all there is to it. I want my invention to make life easier and more enjoyable for someone. It is my opinion, that this drives the greatest inventors. Patents have a history containing geniuses with an unnatural drive to try and "invent" a better future.
