How To Use The Whistle To Recall Your Dog

Before anything else, realize that it is in your best interest that your dog always feels glad to come back to you. If you make him feel that it is a good thing to answer you quickly each time you call he will always do your bidding. Your dog is a sensible animal. He wants to be certain that whatever move he makes is beneficial in terms of praises and possible reward. Instructing your dog on the distance whistle recall commands will be less hard if you follow the above advice. Just make your whistle recalls firmly without sounding threatening.

All said, distance recall training is very important because you should be in a position to recall your dog from whatever it is engaged in, and from a distance. However, realize that you may not be able to achieve success as quickly as you desire, but persistent uniformity of commands will surely get your dog to eventually learn to react positively to your whistle recalls from long distances.
